Everything Your Outdoor Space Needs, Done in One Place
Uplights, spotlights, path lights and garden feature lighting. We design a layout that shows off your outdoor space properly, then install it cleanly and safely.
Motion-activated and dusk-to-dawn sensor lights for entrances, driveways, and garages. Well-placed security lighting is one of the most effective deterrents for your home — and one of the most overlooked.
Downlights, pendants, festoon and string lighting for outdoor dining and entertaining areas. We'll help you choose what works for your space and install it to a finish you'll be happy showing off.
Properly installed, weatherproof ceiling fans for pergolas and alfresco areas. The right fan in the right spot makes a real difference on a Sydney summer evening.
Outdoor-rated powerpoints installed where you actually need them. No more extension cords running through the back door or across the patio.
Dedicated circuits and power for outdoor kitchens, built-in barbecues, and alfresco dining setups. We plan it properly so you're not constantly tripping the circuit breaker.
New installations, upgrades, and safety checks for pools and spas. All work is carried out to Australian standards and we provide the compliance documentation to go with it.
If your granny flat's electrical setup is old, undersized, or non-compliant, we'll sort it out safely and efficiently with a proper subboard upgrade.
The Difference Is in the Details
You'll know exactly what the job costs before we start. We quote the work, you approve it, that's what you pay. No hourly-rate blowouts. No "extras" that appear on the invoice at the end.

We're fully licensed general electricians and ASP Level 2 electricians. That covers everything from a single garden spotlight to a full pool electrical installation — all done legally, safely, and in one visit.

What Our Customers Say
Botany · Coogee · Randwick · Newtown · Marrickville and beyond
"Adolfo was absolutely fantastic. Came out the same day, explained everything clearly, and the job was done exactly as quoted. No surprises on the invoice. Already booked for our lighting upgrade."
"We had a mains upgrade done. Adolfo handled the whole thing including the network coordination — I didn't have to chase anyone or figure out the Level 2 process myself. Brilliant."
"The pendant lighting completely transformed our dining room. Adolfo had ideas I hadn't thought of and the result is stunning. He clearly loves what he does. Highly recommend."
"Arrived on time, did exactly what was quoted, cleaned up after themselves. That combination puts them ahead of 90% of tradies I've dealt with. I only call A.SAL for anything electrical now."
"Used A.SAL for our cafe fit-out. Adolfo understood our brief immediately and worked around trading hours. The garden lighting out the front has made a huge difference to evening ambience."
"Used A.SAL three times. Outdoor lighting, a switchboard upgrade, and a full renovation rewire. Every time: on time, on quote, clean, and Adolfo is a genuinely good bloke. Five stars, every time."
Frequently asked questions
We proudly serve Sydney’s Bayside, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Lower North Shore and surrounding areas. Not sure if we cover your area? Give us a call and we’ll let you know straight away.
Yes — and it matters more than most people realise. In NSW, all electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician. That includes weatherproof powerpoints, sensor lights, outdoor fans, and all pool and spa electrical. DIY electrical work is illegal in NSW and can void your home insurance. When A.SAL completes the job, you receive a Certificate of Electrical Safety for every installation, which you keep on file for compliance and resale purposes.
It is when it’s installed properly. We only use outdoor-rated fixtures, IP-rated fittings, and weatherproof cable designed for Australian conditions. A lot of outdoor electrical problems; tripped circuits, corroded connections, waterlogged fittings, come down to the wrong materials being used in the first place, or corners cut during installation. We spec the right gear for every job and install it to last.
Yes, and we’re careful about it. Before we start, we walk the space with you to plan cable runs that avoid root systems, garden beds, and anything else worth protecting. We aim to leave your garden looking exactly as it did when we arrived — except now with lights in it.
It depends on the scope — a single sensor light is a very different job to a full garden lighting installation with powerpoints and a ceiling fan. What we can tell you is that you’ll get a clear, fixed quote before we do anything. No hourly-rate estimates, no bill shock at the end. We’re happy to come out, walk the space with you, and put together a detailed quote at no charge.
Yes. Pool and spa electrical in NSW has strict requirements under Australian standards, and we know them well. Whether you need a new installation, an upgrade to ageing wiring, or a compliance check on an existing system, we’ll make sure everything is up to standard and give you the documentation to prove it. It’s not worth guessing with pool electrical.
Usually yes. If you’ve found something you love online or at a lighting store, bring it to the job and we’ll assess it before we start. As long as it’s rated for outdoor use and meets Australian standards, we’re happy to install it. If it’s not suitable, we’ll tell you upfront — not after we’ve tried to make it work.
