What Is a Level 2 ASP Electrician?
Not All Electricians Are Authorised to Do This Work
A Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) is a licensed electrician with additional certification from Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy that authorises them to work directly on the electricity supply network.
That means the infrastructure between your property and the grid: service lines, private power poles, electricity meters, underground mains, and connection points. Standard electricians are not authorised to touch any of it — and they can be fined if they try.
If your problem starts at the street, or involves connecting your property to the grid, you need a Level 2 ASP. Adolfo holds full Level 2 ASP accreditation and has been completing this work across Sydney for over 15 years. If you're still working out which one you need, here's the difference between a Level 2 and a regular electrician.
All work is completed to Australian Standard AS/NZS 3000:2018 and compliant with Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy network requirements.
